Product Operations
You scale OGP's products to reach more users and maximise the public good our solutions bring.
What does a Product Operations Specialist at OGP do?
As a Product Operations Specialist, you're responsible for scaling OGP products to reach more users and better serve their needs. You proactively find and onboard new users, resolve issues, and channel feedback to product teams for continuous improvement.
Senior specialists establish and manage product operation systems that enable OGP teams to respond rapidly to user needs and scale user bases efficiently.
Your responsibilities include:
Proactively identifying potential users (like other government agencies) to maximise the public impact of OGP products
Training and onboarding new users
Supporting users through email, chat, and phone during product rollout and ongoing operations
Optimising internal and external documentation (product FAQs, customer handling guides, etc.)
Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Product Designers to bring user insights back to improve our products
Identifying and implementing changes to help scale product operations
Government services create public good only when they reach people who need them. Your role ensures our products serve citizens at scale, transforming promising innovations into essential public services.
You'll work on meaningful projects across transportation, education, healthcare, and more. The public sector offers countless opportunities where even simple software can significantly impact people's lives. Over 70% of our projects start as ground-up initiatives, giving you direct ownership of your work. Rather than pursuing commercial ventures, we're focused on improving society through government services.
Who we are looking for
We look for people who:
Are empathetic problem-solvers — quickly understanding user needs and finding creative solutions
Communicate clearly — both in writing and verbally, explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences
Are detail-oriented — creating comprehensive documentation and tracking issues methodically
Have experience with support systems—familiar with tools like Google Suite, Zapier, and Zendesk, amongst others.
Use data effectively—tracking product metrics to identify trends and drive improvements
Take initiative to improve processes—identifying operational gaps and implementing automated solutions
Are committed to serving the public good — as public servants, we serve the public. This sometimes means pushing back or ignoring political pressures or misguided policies
Proficiency in languages commonly spoken in Singapore (Mandarin, Chinese dialects, Hindi, Tamil, Bahasa Melayu) is a plus.
Overall, we seek candidates with ability, initiative, good communication, and strong values.
