Corporate Team
You design and deliver organisational approaches that help OGP function at its best. You share best practices to help transform the rest of the government.
What does the Corporate Team at OGP do?
As a member of the Corporate Team, you design the best approaches for running OGP and execute them effectively. Our team includes several specialized roles:
Marketing & Outreach: Amplify OGP's efforts through branding and outreach to attract top talent and drive change.
People: Hire the best people and keep them engaged, growing, and impactful.
Workplace: Create, maintain, and optimise our physical and digital environments for our staff to collaborate effectively and perform at their best.
Finance: Ensure OGP's resources are effectively managed, secured, and deployed to maximise our impact on public good while maintaining high accountability.
While day-to-day responsibilities vary between roles, all Corporate Team members:
Research industry best practices to identify ways to improve OGP organisational practices
Design policies and practices to implement these approaches
Work with stakeholders (government HR, Finance, Senior Management) to gain buy-in for new practices
Manage change during operational roll-outs
Gather feedback from team members and use data to experiment, identify what works, and iterate quickly
Organizations can only create impact when their people and processes work seamlessly together. Your role ensures OGP operates efficiently and effectively, creating the environment where public-serving innovation can flourish.
Who we are looking for
We look for people who:
Can work "full-stack" — from conceptualising initiatives to implementing and maintaining operations
Are well-organised with keen attention to detail — comfortably handling detailed implementation, budget management, and procurement processes
Solve problems innovatively — critically evaluating how to optimise team operations and thinking outside the box
Ideally, experience in public service and/or related functional fields (startup or tech organisation experience is a plus)
Take initiative to drive change — our job is challenging the status quo, not waiting for instructions
Communicate effectively — writing clearly and facilitating collaboration
Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence — understanding team dynamics and building trust with various stakeholders
Are committed to serving the public good — as public servants, we serve the public. This sometimes means pushing back or ignoring political pressures or misguided policies
Overall, we seek candidates with ability, initiative, good communication, and strong values.
